Thai pilots win Gold, silver and bronze medals
The 2017 45th Thailand National Games took place in Songkhla, 24 – 28 June. Gold, silver and bronze medals went to OZONE pilots in individual PF1 class:
Kittiphop PHROMMAT (Ead) Viper 4 14 – overall 2nd
Precision – 1st Gold Navigation – 2nd Silver Eco = 3rd Bronze
Pongkorn THANASAKUNKORNSAENG (Zeegame) flying OZONE Freeride 15 – overall 3rd
Precision – 3rd Bronze Eco – 2nd Silver
A total of 33 Thai pilots were competing in 3 classes PF1, PF1f and PL1, including 7 girls, 17 mans in PF1 and 9 pilots in single trikes. Weather conditions were changeable including strong winds and rain but the organizer manage to complete 9 tasks: 5 precision, 2 economy and 2 navigation.
Big congratulations to new OZONE Thai Team pilot Pongkorn THANASAKUNKORNSAENG (Zeegame) for his excellent results considering that he received his new Freeride 15 just before the competition.

FAI Paragliding World Championship 2017
The 2017 Worlds in Italy, has begun!
Monte Avena, situated in the south-west of the Dolomites mountain range is the main stage for the FAI World Paragliding Championship 2017, this is the first time that Italy hosts this event.
Yesterday the organizers decided to move the first task to Bassano due to the weather, where they had great conditions for a 77,8km task. The winners of the day were Pierre Remy from France and Silvia Buzzi Ferraris from Italy, both flying Enzo 3s.
Today’s task is a 95 km Race to Goal, conditions have improved and the pilots will be taking off from the official launch in Monte Avena.

Red Bull X-Alps 2017
Red Bull X-Alps, the world’s toughest adventure race has returned for its eighth edition. Starting in Salzburg, 31 Athletes of 20 nationalities are racing a straight-line distance of 1,138km across the Alps to Monaco via 7 turnpoints in 7 different countries, including a turnpoint in Slovenia for the first time in Red Bull X-Alps history.
Over the years, the race has attracted some of the world’s top adventurers and has pushed them to their limits. It demands not only expert paragliding skills but extreme endurance, as some athletes will hike over 100km a day and gain 1000’s of meters in altitude while flying.
Some of the pilots are flying our new Z-Alps, an ultralite high-performance wing for the most experienced vol-biv adventurers. We wish them well on this fantastic adventure.
