ZENO Sweeps Serial Class at 2016 Canungra Cup
The Canungra Cup wound up on the 16th of October after 3 successful tasks. The strong winds that predominated most of the week made for tricky flying in the first few tasks and a number of days were blown out.
The last task of the event was a Canungra classic with a 95 km race to goal over the Cunninghams Gap. This task saw over 45 pilots in goal and lifted spirits after many days of waiting.
The OZONE ZENO featured highly, taking second in the open class and sweeping the Serial Class podium. The OZONE Delta 2 dominated the Sport Class, taking the top 4 places.
Our friend, Che Golus, wrote to us after his first comp with the ZENO:
“I am extremely happy with the Zeno and everyone agrees keeping up with any other glider is no problem – and with the added benefit of easy handling in the rough stuff. Climbing is fantastic with good feedback, it’s such a joy to fly!”
Thanks Che for the report, and congrats to all the pilots from all the Team at OZONE.
