On June 13th, Portuguese pilots Carlos Lopes (Zeno), Eusébio Soares (Enzo 3) and Pedro Neves (Zeno) took advantage of one of the first good days of the season, joining forces to fly from the mountains of Gardunha in Portugal to the flats of Spain.
After more than seven hours in the air and shortly before sunset, the Portuguese armada landed at 280 km. They didn’t find many clouds during their flight but consistent conditions and teamwork saw them through.
Carlos and Eusebio are regular visitors to Quixada in Brazil and both have several +400km flights to their credit.
Thanks to our friend Nuno Virgilio for the report.
