Twisted SAT to Twisted MacTwist, Twisted Joker Reverse Unnatural, Twisted Opposite MacTwist Reverse. …some of the tricks from yesterday’s qualification session. Unfortunately after 5 maneuvers the sky started closing in an a small shower turned down the ‘turbine’. All pilots top landed and waited for strong conditions to return but the wind stayed calm for the rest of the day. 2 pilots got eliminated and a some have only 1 or 2 letters remaining. Today the GAME begins! 15 invitational pilots will be challenged to qualify into the finals. Who will be the 8 of them to make it?
– REMINDER: the take off will be closed tomorrow during the finals approximately between 4-6 pm. Everybody is welcome to watch the event on the launch site with cold drinks and shade! –

The British All Comers Open 2018 in Feltre, Italy just came to an end.

Our friend, Kieran Campbell, reports:

“In summary, conditions were relatively unstable creating challenging tasking conditions all week. Most tasks started with the field vying for the best spot at (or in!) cloudbase. “Sunday saw the first task stopped due to rain at the farthest turnpoint. “Monday’s task proved too difficult for everyone, with the field strewn far and wide across the course, giving the retrieve drivers a busy afternoon. “Yuki Sato-Colombé was the only pilot to make the ESS, but with less than 100m AGL, her flight finished very soon after. “Tuesday’s conditions looked better but an incident in front of launch, and the resulting helicopter rescue, invalidated the start window. “Moving to Bassano on Wednesday saw 46 pilots make goal, boosting morale considerably. “Thursday was binned due to the forecast overdevelopment. Many chose to free fly before it did bubble up, including a dozen of us who landed at the nearby mountain refuge for a light lunch. “The smiles in the group photo soon disappeared as we were all consumed by heavy rain almost as soon as we’d started our glide back to Feltre. MARIE MATEOS JOINS OZONE TEAM

MARIE MATEOS JOINS OZONE TEAM

OZONE is excited to announce that Female World Paramotor Champion and European Vice Champion (overall) Marie Mateos has joined our team.

Marie is 27 years young, from France, and has been flying paramotors since 2011. She participated in her first competition in 2014 flying the Speedster 22m in regional championships. After competing in the French Championships she qualified for the French National Team in 2015 and participated in her first international competition flying the Slalom 16m at the World Slalom Championships.

Marie is known as an extremely focused, hardworking, and talented pilot.

Her results so far:

World Female Champion 2016, 5th overall
1rst Female at World Championship 2018, 5th overall
French Female Champion
French Vice-Champion (overall)
Vice European Champion (overall) 2017

Marie says: “I am very happy to join the OZONE Team. I already use OZONE wings especially the Roadster 2 with my students, so I know that OZONE offers high quality all range of wings, from school to competition. I tried the Viper 4 and my first impressions are very good, I’m impatient to use it in the next competition! My next goal is World Slalom Championship in Egypt, in October!”
